The four turned off their flashlights and walked to the elevator area, where only the kitchen to the left was still shrouded in darkness, and the entrance to the dining hall indicated it was a Chinese restaurant. To the right, darkness enveloped the area, with just a bit of light on the edge of the hall, where "restaurant" was written near the entrance. Clearly, the Chinese restaurant was this hotel’s signature service.
Maya: "Let’s sweep the kitchen on the left first."
In the kitchen, five unlucky Night Demons had no escape, powerless against the forces of light, and were quickly slaughtered. Lin Wu cursed as he yanked open the large freezer, nearly firing his gun when he found an NPC hiding inside.
Lin Wu angrily demanded, "How come you aren’t frozen to death?"
The NPC, a man dressed in a suit, stood up and retorted confidently, "What do you think caused the power outage?"
Hell is truly hell, even the NPCs have personalities. Maya was not naive enough to argue with an NPC; she quickly led the team to search once over, asking, "Is there anyone else?"
The man: "I don’t care about others; just get me out of this hellhole," he said arrogantly.
Shana blocked the potential assassin Lin Wu with her body: "Help us find the others and then we can leave."
