Kingdom of Corrosion

Lin Wu hadn’t directly seen the portal, but he did see the faint blue reflection on the surface of the water in between the stone mortars, like Stonehenge. About 15 meters away, the water was filled with adult electric eels. Craning his neck and peering around, Lin Wu couldn’t find any terrain or items to take advantage of. Waiting for the Titan to pass, Lin Wu reached the poolside, took a deep breath, and jumped into the pool. His first step landed squarely on an eel, almost causing him to slip and fall. In desperation, he jumped onto a conical sharp rock and hugged the top of the rock, standing like a frog.

The commotion was too great and directly caused the Titan to bellow and give chase. Lin Wu leaped to another rock, and the Titan grabbed at air. The good news was that the Titan wouldn’t enter the pond. The bad news was that it was a fake rock, and Lin Wu, along with the rock, plunged into the water, instantly feeling an electric current surge through his body. He flopped around in the water like a live fish before floating on the surface.

Five seconds later, the revived Lin Wu didn’t move immediately but raised his head instead. Looking at the electric eels beneath his body, Lin Wu pointed his toes to the bottom and paddled his hands through the water, slowly moving towards Stonehenge. His feet slid gently over the bodies of the eels, not angering them.

Turns out one has to be gentle not only with women, but with fish too. Wait, that’s not right? Being gentle is a virtue in women, so they’re gentle, and I have to be gentle too? If I’m already gentler than you, why do I need your gentleness? I might as well be gentle with myself.

Lost in his random musings, Lin Wu circumvented the reefs and stealthily approached Stonehenge, finally seeing a thirty-centimeter-tall, ten-centimeter-wide oval portal within it. The moment he touched the portal, Lin Wu whooshed away and in the next second, he appeared in the small square of the base, standing in the middle of the portal.

Stone was startled and didn’t react for a long time, Lin Wu: "Huh?"

"Huh," Stone lowered his hand.
