The closest firepower point was on Highway 99 going north toward the plantation forest. Following the road uphill and crossing two mountains, one would arrive at Husband Waiting Cliff, which was 1,500 meters above sea level. Husband Waiting Cliff used to be a forest ranger’s fire-watcher tower.
The fire-watcher tower’s firepower point had two main features. The first was difficulty—there was no road to Husband Waiting Cliff, so one must blaze their own trail. The second was its fierceness—among the more than ten firepower points in Left County, two used 204 mm heavy artillery, while the others were equipped with 155 mm howitzers.
