However, being a modified gun, it did not allow any additional attachments such as silencers, compensators, or extra magazines beyond the built-in 2x scope. Lin Wu entered the work area and saw two camo-dressed NPCs lying dead on the ground, Lin Wu approached and looted an assault rifle from the bodies. Nightmare also cooperated with Lin Wu, looting another corpse before tossing the assault rifle she found to Lin Wu.

Lin Wu inserted the gun into his backpack and zipped it up, but due to the length of the rifle, a section of the barrel still protruded out of the pack.

Nightmare closed the door, lifted her night vision goggles, and using a flashlight discovered that there was something off about the floor. All other places were cement floors, only here a section was wooden planks.

Lin Wu lifted the wooden plank, Nightmare lowered her gun and looked down, shaking her head. Lin Wu used the flashlight’s beam to peek and saw a straight ladder leading down. Night vision allowed Nightmare to see more clearly, she whispered in Lin Wu’s ear, "About 10 meters." Then pointed at herself and then downward, indicating she would go down first.

Lin Wu nodded, put the wooden plank back, and stepped aside. Nightmare slid down the ladder, and then Lin Wu heard non-stop gunfire, thankfully all from Nightmare’s weapon, likely a one-sided massacre. Lin Wu also slid down the ladder.
