Stone sat solemnly on his throne, composting and reading the newspaper, while Su Shi was dismantling watches in the workshop. Lin Wu and Wai flopped onto the conference table in the backyard, competing in a crawling race.

Stone was momentarily stumped, then said after a pause, "Can’t say." It was best not to mention any nouns that had value implications.
"Anything fun in there?"
After skimming for a bit, Stone replied, "Not much, just that the beach is under construction, it needs 48 hours."
Lin Wu asked, "Got enough building materials?"
"Enough," Stone said impatiently. "If you really have nothing to say, you can shut up."
Feeling bored, Lin Wu beckoned Wai to crawl opposite him and they had a staring contest. After a while, he let Wai go catch mice on its own. Rolling off the conference table, Lin Wu crawled all the way to the workshop, where Su Shi was also reading the newspaper and looked toward Lin Wu at the door, "Bored, huh? Want some newspapers to read?"
