Lin Wu said, "But she betrayed her companion."

"It’s different with the system," Maya explained. "Unless it’s a whole team, there’s basically no trust between Fortress agents. If her companion tried to kill her in the name of cooperation, both of us wouldn’t be surprised. Moreover, even if your suspicion has some merit, you’ll still go."

Lin Wu understood, "You’re not so sure either, so you want to come with me."

Maya didn’t argue, "If you want to go, you must trust Nightmare. Don’t use someone you doubt, and don’t doubt someone you use.
