Chapter 349 - 195: Pioneering

Lin Wu dashed forward, while Maya provided cover as they both pushed into the Blood Mist. Lin Wu moved stealthily along the wall, silently assassinating one zombie after another, advancing about 20 meters successfully.
Then, the Blood Mist attack squads appeared, forcing them to retreat back to the television exhibit area. Lin Wu said, disheartened, "We’ll have to use the cover-up agent."
Maya replied, "Even though these things are nasty, it’s not like we can have them whenever we want. And with only one minute, there’s not enough time for a round trip. We must eliminate the Blood Heart in order to scour the supermarket."
Lin Wu said, "To take down the Blood Heart, we first need to scavenge for supplies, but to scavenge we need to eliminate the Blood Heart first." Logic defeating logic.
Maya said, "I’m thinking of Nightmare."
Lin Wu seemed to know what Maya was getting at. "Her Flying Dragon Claw is incredibly potent." Lin Wu had seen it once when Nightmare shot the fixed claw towards a tree trunk dozens of meters away. The pulling force it created when the line was reeled in could rapidly drag her towards the location of the Flying Dragon Claw.
"Just about," Maya was thinking of the various strange gadgets that Nightmare possessed, confident that one would definitely be able to help them now. Maya said, "Let’s go."
Lin Wu immediately set off, followed the Blood Mist squad, stalking them closely. He dispatched all but one of the Blood Mist squad. What came next was up to luck; to avoid another attack from the Blood Mist squad, Lin Wu had to stick with them. The squad attempt to stay beyond 15 meters from players; otherwise, the Blood Mist would be unable to form another attacking party within it. While tracking the Blood Mist squad, Lin Wu also had to watch out for other zombies nearby and stay within the 15-meter radius of the squad.
