Chapter 333 - 188: Defending the City (Part 2)_3
Lin Wu held his nose high, his face lifted to the sky, disdainfully asking, "Why should we listen to you women?"
As soon as these words were out, a man immediately retorted, "Brother, that’s going too far."
Lin Wu said, "What’s so excessive about it? Tell me, what qualifications does she have to command us?"
Everyone looked at Maya, thinking exactly, what qualifications do you have?
Maya answered helplessly, "I’m a member of the guard."
"Oh," everyone responded in unison. Looking back at Lin Wu, they saw him, who was previously arrogant and domineering, quietly taking his seat upon hearing ’guard army.’ With such a precedent set, no one present spoke out against it anymore; they all wanted to hear how Maya would command.
Maya shared her ideas, dividing the players into five groups, distinguishable by color. Group 1 would loot the air drops. Group 2 would cover Group 1. Group 3 would suppress from the city walls. Group 4 would patrol the city walls. Group 5 would deal with emergencies on the move, like handling Titans, sections of the wall overwhelmed by zombies, and so on. Group 5 would rotate every 15 minutes.
Furthermore, Maya suggested that each person should carry no more than two primary firearms and place secondary firearms and ammunition in the warehouse next to the lab for players in need to freely take. But this was just a suggestion. The most important thing was still the grouping.
The process went smoothly; Maya had everyone count off and group up with others who shared their number. They tried to find pieces of cloth or ribbons in their group’s color to tie around their left arms for easy recognition.
The players didn’t think the suggestion was particularly good, but they didn’t find it bad either, and it wasn’t going to harm them. While searching for ribbons, one player brought three cans of paint which solved the color problem for three groups. These groups sprayed various colored strips to match a single color. The last two groups were a bit messy, but one group used light colors and the other dark colors. Overall, it was easy to distinguish between them.
