Wai ran to Nightmare, who was startled by the sudden appearance and slowed down in grabbing her gun. Wielding no fear of death, Wai bit Nightmare’s trouser leg and tugged. Nightmare looked down at Wai, couldn’t help but reach out to pet the dog’s head, but she remained vigilant, watching her surroundings. Wai looked back and trotted slowly, and seeing that Nightmare wasn’t following, pulled on the trouser leg again. After thinking it over, Nightmare ultimately followed Wai into the house.

Upon entering, she was greeted by three guns pointed at her, and Nightmare completely gave up resistance. If she had Lin Wu’s Wind Stinger, maybe she could have fought back, but she didn’t have it. She put down her gun and with a calm expression asked Maya, "What do you want?"

Maya ordered both sides to lower their guns, "How about we work together?"

Nightmare: "Not likely. In this instance, the Hunters are united, and I have no financial interest with you."

Maya said, "You lose 500 points for each death."

Nightmare: "That’s right."

Maya said, "It’s the same 500 points for anyone else’s death."

Lin Wu understood. He added from the side, "You help us kill the Hunters, we help you kill the players."

Maya’s eyes widened in shock, and she quickly said, "I didn’t mean that. I meant you help us take down the Hunters, and naturally your points will be the highest."

"That proposal has some appeal," Nightmare turned to look at Lin Wu, "but I prefer your suggestion."

Maya: "No, no, we won’t do that."
