The applause around her made Shana lose herself in the moment, and in a fit of excitement, she used Whirlwind Stick. Gripping the stick in the middle, she spun it around, hitting the approaching zombies which the system recognized as slashing attacks. Not only did she cause additional knockdowns and stuns with the executions, but under the continual strikes, the zombies kept spasming.
Everyone applauded and cheered for her.
But the coolness didn’t last more than five seconds. Shana couldn’t keep the stick going, and faced with three fierce zombies, she had no choice but to turn and run. Amidst Lin Wu’s hissing, Maya actually thought the Whirlwind Stick wasn’t bad. Theoretically, slashing required power to be effective, but Shana could make up for it in numbers rather than strength, and most importantly, it didn’t consume stamina. Of course, it wouldn’t work on Blood Zombies, they were too close and she’d surely get infected.
Shana grabbed her stick and, red-faced, ran over to kick Lin Wu in the shin, but he dodged left and right.
Maya said, "Lin Wu, take Shana to find a Frenzy. Shana, you deal with it using your spinning stick."
Shana nodded and explained, "It’s called Whirl Dance Stick Flower."
Lin Wu, curious, asked, "How do you know that?"
Shana responded, "My dad is a fan of ancient martial arts; I’ve seen him spinning sticks. But that was all he could do."
"And that’s considered a fan?"
