Back at the supermarket base, Shana rode her bike with Lin Wu in tow, and they quickly reached Shadow Base. Some changes had occurred at Shadow Base since Stone had converted a warehouse into a dormitory and turned the outdoor barracks into guard towers. Maya used the guard towers to train Bai Ban in firearms.
If there weren’t enough zombies, then stones would suffice, not Great Commander Stone, but actual stones on the ground. When Lin Wu and the others arrived, Little Knife was doing push-ups under the watchtower. They found out that she had hit the 30-meter-distant stone only three times out of ten shots, placing her last and being punished with 100 push-ups.
However, Little Knife was not alone, Snow Egg was there with her. It seemed that the misunderstanding over Snow Egg’s drunkenness had ignited the flame of love between them. Or maybe it’s just that love really can’t be explained by logic.
