Maya had rested for three hours when she heard some noise and came out of her room with her knife. Seeing it was Lin Wu, she cleared the zombies approaching the base and noticed his pallor, asking, "What’s the matter, you’re looking lackluster?" In Maya’s impression, Lin Wu was always either calm and poised, ready to strike, or lively and expressive in action.
Lin Wu shook his head, "So bored. And the worst part is, there are still two more nights of this boredom." They had to keep up the grind at least until the night before the market opened.
Maya asked, "How’s the loot?"
"Serum and common Skill Books." Lin Wu sat down and said, "Little Knife is really having fun, she gets so caught up in it that she forgets about everyone else around her." She only remembered Lin Wu when she needed to lure zombies.
Maya reminded him, "Nightmare said that after five consecutive waves of Blood Plague zombies, the Titan will appear in the fifth wave."
"I know, we take a 5-minute break every four waves." During the breaks, Little Knife would leave the carriage to hunt zombies. Lin Wu curiously asked, "That train carriage is just two meters tall, but the Titan is three meters high, how does it spawn? And when it does, won’t it be like a cork stuck in the carriage passageway?"
Maya thought about the imagery and said, "Better not to spawn one. Lin Wu, I want to talk to you about something."
Lin Wu asked in surprise, "Love?" What else could you possibly have to ask me about? I’ve been quite the experienced hand at romance, having dated twice.
"Not love," Maya replied emphatically, "Stone told me not to interfere too much with Bai Ban’s affairs."
