Stone said, "Because we aren’t in on the whole situation, it’s hard for outsiders to speculate. I still want to think well of Shana; she must have her reasons."

Lin Wu asked, "What should I do?"

Stone said, "Keep this to yourself. If there really is something between them, we’re sure to pick up more clues."

Lin Wu questioned, "Are you sure you’ve really been a boss before?"

Stone replied, "The boss tells you, when a company’s performance is steadily improving and everything internally is harmonious, don’t make hasty decisions about personnel, particularly when it comes to appointing or removing department heads; you have to consider everything very carefully."

Lin Wu asked, "How would you know if the company’s profits are declining?"

Stone answered, "When a company starts installing cameras in the office, emphasizing clocking in and out, questioning employees about the minutiae of their work, even interfering with the amount of time employees spend in the toilet. That’s when you know the company isn’t far from going under."

Lin Wu asked, "Don’t companies need discipline?"
