When the Titan struck again, Lin Wu timed his jump, avoiding the concussion and ran towards the Titan, then jumped again to avoid another shockwave, and pulled out an Eagle Sand from his bag.

The Titan was already beneath the watchtower, beginning to smash at it. As a defensive unit, the watchtower was quite sturdy, but that’s all it was—quite sturdy. Lin Wu decisively fired his gun from three meters away, the loud report of the .50 caliber bullet accompanied by its impact on the Titan’s head. Having turned back, Lin Wu’s second shot missed the Titan’s head; this time, the Titan didn’t even look back. Lin Wu’s next two shots still only hit the Titan’s body. This was the challenge of hitting a small, moving target; the Titan’s body kept swaying as it hammered at the watchtower.

This irritated Lin Wu to the point where he put away the Eagle Sand and threw out a Beast Trap. The Titan struck the Beast Trap with its massive right arm, which activated the trap, clamping onto its limb. The Titan seemed somewhat perturbed this time, extending its left arm to pull the trap off the right and toss it aside.

With Invincible shouting orders, everyone from all around converged on the scene. No matter the state of the base, as long as they still wanted it, they had to take down the Titan first. One girl, too anxious, shot from close range without climbing to the roof and was sent flying over ten meters by the Titan’s punch, her body slamming into an iron fence, turning into a white light upon impact, indicating her death.

The relentless rain of bullets from the players finally had an effect; the Titan swayed for the third time. However, it also destroyed the watchtower. Two players fell from above, and the Titan caught one in midair, throwing them out beyond the fence, their fate unknown. It then turned to the other player, who was quick-witted enough to crash through a window into the main building. Although the main building was now overrun with zombies, at least there was still a fight to be had.

Continued losses made Peanut lose his composure; he stood on the edge of the roof, pouring fire onto the Titan. Facing the Titan charging at him, Peanut refused to dodge, hitting the Titan around the neck with every shot. Just when it looked like Peanut, standing on the edge of the roof, would be knocked off, the Titan wobbled again, but this time it staggered back a step.

Lin Wu, his determination at full power, leaped from the rooftop, curling his left arm around the Titan’s head and stabbing furiously at the Titan’s head with a short blade in his right hand. The Titan immediately froze as if paralyzed and fell forward. Lin Wu, holding onto the Titan’s head, crashed to the ground with it, causing the earth to shake. Everyone looked over the edge, seeing Lin Wu hanging onto the back of the Titan, but apparently lifeless.

Only Maya noticed Lin Wu was Corpse Looting and, thinking quickly, shouted, "Protect the building!"
