"I heard Lady Sumi is back!" The mayor burst through the door, his voice filled with excitement.

I looked up and greeted him with a soft tone. "Oh, hey, Mayor!"

He beamed at me, his smile wide and genuine. "Lady Sumi! I have so much good news for you!"

I tilted my head curiously. "Good news?"

He nodded vigorously. "I'll call the others!" Without waiting for a response, he rushed back outside.

I stood there silently, processing his enthusiasm. From beside me, Bokkon spoke up. "We were hoping you'd return, so we didn't tell anyone about your disappearance."

I glanced at him and nodded. "Oh, I see."

I turned and walked over to the couch, sitting down comfortably. Bokkon, Aurthor, Yooto, and Lunara also sit in their couch, while Gearor stood to the side. "I have some work to attend to, so I'll be going now," he said, bowing slightly.

I nodded. "Alright, you can go."

With that, Gearor faded into the air, leaving the rest of us to wait for the mayor and the others. The four of them began chatting excitedly about their new abilities, their voices filled with awe and curiosity.

After a moment, the mayor returned, accompanied by the elder elf and a two humans. They stood before me and knelt respectfully. "Lady Sumi, welcome back," the elder elf said, his voice warm and reverent.
