Chapter 29 - 27.5: What’s in the Dark
Somewhere in the middle of the ocean, there lies a land covered in dark fog. The land is filled with buildings and farms, yet only a few people walk the streets, quietly conversing with one another. At the heart of the city stands a massive black castle, heavily guarded by soldiers stationed outside.
Inside the castle, in a grand room filled with tables and chairs, people are diligently working on paperwork. However, in the center of it all, a man sits with his hands behind his head, drinking alcohol. He wears a brown coat, his long black hair falling over his shoulders, and his piercing purple eyes gleaming in the dim light.
"Work faster, you fuckers!" he screams, hurling his glass at one of the workers.
Suddenly, the door swings open, and a group of men clad in silver armor step inside. One of them speaks up.
"Sir Geazol! The king is calling for you."
Geazol glances at them and scoffs. "Huh? The king? What does he want now?"
He rises from his seat and strides toward the door, glancing back at the workers.
"Don't you dare stop working, you assholes! You won't get your money if you slack off! Hahahahahaha"
Slamming the door behind him, he walks through the dimly lit halls. Eventually, he reaches a grand black door and pushes it open. The room beyond is vast and empty, with black pillars lining the space. Fire torches mounted on the pillars flicker, casting a faint glow. Geazol steps forward and calls out.
"Yo! Hermahat! Did you call me?"
