Chapter 10: Setting Home
After eating and taking some rest, we are walking straight in the jungle. I am walking at the front while the Beastmans are following me in a line behind.
[Where are you taking them?] Aries asked.
"I know a good place for living. I saw it during clearing monsters from the island," I replied.
"And anyway, Aries, can you tell me about this disease?" I said.
[I apprised her deeply and found out that it's not completely a disease,] Aries replied.
"Huh? What does that mean?" I asked.
[It looks like that is a part of her,] Aries spoke.
"H..huh?" I was confused by what she was saying.
[For example, you are a flower, and you have roots that are a part of you as a flower. Just like that, the disease on her is a part of her soul. This doesn't have a name, but if we need to call it something, then we can call it 'Existence Cancer,'] Aries said.
"Existence Cancer..." I said in a small voice.
[When two people in deep love in this world have sexual contact, they are connected with each other from the soul. And as the male releases sperm inside his partner, they combine their bond and soul together to create a baby. It's a normal thing, but sometimes that soul might not be connected properly or strong enough to live. That can cause Existence Cancer—it will slowly kill the person and remove them from existence. The chance of this happening is very, very low, but when it does, there is no cure,] Aries said.
