Chapter 248 - 23 Fiona’s Physical Examination
Hearing the sound of the Magic Doorbell, Fiona immediately woke up. Seeing Anvis outside the door, she quickly closed the book in her hand, gestured with her hand, and opened the door.
"Meow—"
The little cat Kate let out a soft meow, her one blue and one green large eyes blinked, somewhat puzzled by the sudden end of the adventure.
In the dream realm of books, it had gained a special and fun ability to appear out of thin air. It was very similar to its counterpart in the story, a cat from an unknown place called ’Cheshire,’ always smiling.
"I hope I haven’t disturbed you, Fei."
With a graceful smile, Anvis stepped into the room, looked at Fiona who was in a comfortable, light-colored dress, perching her little feet, and lying on the soft sofa with Kate, and asked straightforwardly.
"Have you received a letter from father?"
"Brother, are you talking about that recent prophecy?"
The girl nodded, her delicate little face slightly drooping, and her lake-blue eyes full of troubled expressions.
"Father told me in the letter to be particularly careful about my safety lately, and if necessary, to seek out your help, brother."
