Chapter 468: Don’t Be Polite with Sister
Makarov nodded. "In that case, we won’t force it. Let the other guilds deal with it."
Erza agreed without hesitation. "I have no objections."
Mira raised a point. "Shouldn’t we ask Mystogan too?"
Makarov shook his head. "He’s never shown interest in missions from other continents."
With that, the Guild Master made his decision. The Hundred-Year Quest would be sealed away once again.
After all, only a handful of people in Fairy Tail were even qualified to attempt it. And if none of them were confident, then there was no point pushing anyone into danger.
"Oh, and as for this year’s," Makarov glanced over at Rhodes, then waved his hand dismissively. "You can go now."
He was, of course, referring to the S-Class Promotion Trial.
To keep things fair for the other participants, it wasn’t appropriate for Rhodes to hear anything about the preparations or selections.
As for Mira... well, she could be trusted to keep a secret. Probably.
With no room to argue, Rhodes made his way back downstairs and returned to work.
