Chapter 313: Brother, You Talk Too Much
After the meeting wrapped up, many guild masters came over to greet Rhodes with warm smiles. They acknowledged that they owed Fairy Tail a favor this time and invited him to visit their guilds whenever he had the time.
Rhodes accepted each invitation with a nod. While these weren't all powerhouse guilds, many of them had unique specialties, especially in life magic, guilds that were more practical, quirky, and rich with personality.
For example, the "God of Cooking's Knife" guild even whipped up some desserts before departing, sharing them with everyone present.
Rhodes was already planning to visit them in the future, perhaps during his honeymoon.
Yes, he had officially begun plotting out his honeymoon travel route.
The current draft of the plan involved journeying across the Kingdom of Fiore. If time allowed, they might even explore neighboring countries. Of course, everything would ultimately depend on Mira's preferences too.
Rhodes only indulged in such dreamy thoughts every now and then.
Because of the Council's delayed questioning, it was already dark by the time Rhodes and Makarov returned to Magnolia.
The guild had long closed for the night, so they parted ways.
Makarov headed straight home, while Rhodes made a small detour to Mira's house, just to check in, share a few sweet moments, and maybe steal a cuddle or two.
Unfortunately, Elfman was also there, so anything "more intimate" was definitely off the table.
