Carefully, Rhodes carried Mira back to shore. The lake was filled with chunks of shattered ice, and the water was freezing. He was worried she might catch a cold.
Wizards could definitely get sick, especially when their magic was drained.
With no help from Natsu, who was busy gleefully surfing across the lake on a crab, Rhodes had no choice but to keep Mira close.
Her white dress clung to her skin, soaked through and almost transparent. Rhodes instinctively held her closer to shield her from any prying eyes.
With a sigh, he used Requip Magic to summon a thick blanket and gently wrapped her up. Then he cast floating flame runes using his Solid script magic to warm her up.
There would be plenty of time to enjoy those perks later. Right now, he had to make sure she stayed safe and warm.
Magic really did make things easier sometimes.
