Chapter 134: Aren’t You and Mira Already Dating?
On the way back, Rhodes kept glancing over his shoulder and scanning his surroundings.
Mira eventually asked, "What are you doing?"
"I don't know," Rhodes said, unsure. "I just have this weird feeling, like someone's watching us. Did you notice any suspicious stares?"
Mira shook her head, responding out of habit, "There are always people staring, but none that felt unusual."
Rhodes suddenly had a revelation. "Ohhh~ I almost forgot that I've got a big star walking beside me. You're used to being the center of attention."
"That's right," Mira said with a playful huff, lifting her chin and putting on an aloof expression. "Want an autograph?"
"Yes, yes! But I don't have my autograph book with me. Can you sign my hand instead? I promise I won't wash it afterward!"
"You're being weird again." Mira smacked his hand away, laughing. "What kind of person asks for a hand autograph?"
"Honestly though," Rhodes said, slightly serious, "you're probably so used to being stared at that you might not even notice if you're being watched by someone with bad intentions."
"There aren't any bad guys in town," Mira replied breezily. "If someone is following us, it's probably someone from the guild pulling a prank."
