Chapter 15: Goodbye, The Beautiful Heroes I Admire
The guild was less than a kilometer away, and at a leisurely pace, it would take no more than fifteen minutes to get there.
However, the enticing aromas from the breakfast stalls and bakeries along the way proved to be a challenge for Rhode's self-control.
Warm had it even worse. The little creature had his tongue hanging out, his wide eyes darting around, not knowing which delicious scent to follow.
The variety of food here was as diverse as the people's fashion styles.
After much consideration, Rhode settled on a bun shop, purchasing two steaming hot meat buns—one for himself and one for Warm.
He only ate half before giving the rest to Warm.
Times were still tough for him. Until he had more money, he decided he should be more frugal.
Instead of spending on street food, he figured it would be smarter to eat a proper meal at the guild, where he could get a full bowl of noodles.
Warm, however, was completely overjoyed. Perhaps it was because the Howling Abyss, where he originally came from, lacked abundant resources.
Whatever the reason, this little guy was not picky about food at all.
