The servants exchanged glances, at a loss for a moment, before some quicker-witted maids immediately sprang into action and helped the continually wailing Madam Wang to her feet.
Among them was a maid who was a bit of a dimwit, the kind that lacks common sense. Suddenly, she approached Madam Wang, shouting in astonishment, "Hey! Madam Wang, what on earth is going on? With a bruised back, Madam Wang clutched at her waist, cursing out loud, shedding all pretense of ladylike demeanor.
