Chapter 452: The 99th Floor
After my team defeated the strange-looking devil on the 91st floor, we all drank an MP potion to recover and moved on to the next level.
The demon we found on the 92nd floor was similar to the previous one, but instead of having long and skinny extremities, this one almost looked like a golem, as its body was covered in rocks and minerals.
Nevertheless, our team was too strong to be delayed by a single random devil, so we managed to take care of it in less than two minutes.
The devils in the gauntlet were much more powerful than the primal demons we had defeated before, but since we only had to face one of them, it felt easier.
Moreover, the devils from the gauntlet didn’t speak or show any kind of emotion, which made me believe that the demon king was simply trying to waste our time.
While we fought the devil on the 94th floor, Ovi started to actively participate in the battle by flying off my shoulders and shooting small, flaming lava projectiles at the demon.
Honestly, I thought it was kind of adorable how the baby dragon did his best to help us in battle, and while his projectiles were small, the lava burned through pretty much any material without a problem.
Still, after every fight, Ovi would return to me and sit on my shoulder, which seemed to be his favorite spot.
On the 98th floor, we encountered an ancient demon who could stretch parts of his body and possessed a powerful regeneration ability, so any time we severed an arm or a leg, it would quickly grow back.
