Chapter 445: A Fearful Presence
After we spent a few hours on the 65th floor looking for the exit, we were quite disappointed when we realized there weren’t any more elevators.
The grass field levels were much easier to traverse, as it was an ample, open space. However, floors 66 to 69 were all heavily dense forests, which took us hours to explore, and we couldn’t skip them with the elevators as we did with the fields.
By the time we were exploring the 67th floor, I was standing atop a tree crown, scanning my surroundings, when I sensed a familiar presence getting closer.
I could tell that the MP I sensed wasn’t from an enemy, so my body didn’t react with hostility. Nevertheless, I was still a bit confused since it felt like the source of the energy was traveling at high speeds toward me.
"Sage Louie?" I pondered aloud.
Not even ten seconds later, I spotted a small white crystal flying out of the entrance to the 67th floor, and as it quickly approached me, I realized it was one of the crystals that Sage Louie used for his broadcast spell.
When the white crystal hovered a little over two meters away from me, it stopped flying all over the place and simply started following me.
Two minutes later, I received a message on the voice crystal explaining that Sage Louie would be broadcasting the war to all of the countries in the world, which was the same thing he did with the war in the Northern Empire.
Honestly, I didn’t mind that idea since I didn’t consider the war with the demons to be a secret. Moreover, it was a good way for Sage Louie to spectate different teams and send help wherever it was needed.
