Chapter 386: Army Preparations (Part 1)
The following day, after meeting Thorgest, the emperor’s brother, we received a potion batch from Reinar and Jen and started the treatment of the remaining soldiers.
Thankfully, there weren’t that many of them left, so we were finished by noon after more groups of soldiers had gone out of the village to look for survivors.
Florencia and Luca, the two twins from Vista, had accompanied Melina with the reinforcements, and it seemed to me like they had been practicing their magic since they were pretty helpful around the village.
Still, the main reason they were there was because, as the princes of Vista, they needed to get more experience in battle, and their father told them to support us in the north to improve their battle senses.
I knew both twins well enough to know that they wanted to come here, and honestly, the north was so messed up that we were taking any help we could get.
That same day, after curing the last brainwashed soldier in our village, we had a meeting with all the different group leaders, and we started devising a plan to kill Baelzor.
We didn’t know what would happen to the cursed citizens if we killed the devil, but at the very least, we were sure they wouldn’t die from it.
Thorgest, the emperor’s brother, gave us a clear description of the capital and how its defenses worked.
The city was divided into five different rings, and each ring was separated by tall iron walls, with the center being the area where the Steel Castle was located.
