Chapter 382: Melina’s Reinforcements
When Melina reunited with her group, she introduced everyone to the new addition to their team, Frost, the Ice Dragon.
The young dragon was responsible for creating the mist that reached the town of Nebbia, and when Melina asked him why he did it, the dragon replied that he had no idea it was reaching that far.
His intentions were to hide his tower with the illusions and the fog, but his dense mist had been enveloping the town of Nebbia for over a hundred years.
The princess saw that Frost looked a bit guilty, so she tried to cheer him up by saying that the people from town had gotten used to living with the mist anyway, which did indeed make the dragon feel a bit better.
Once they fully rested at the bottom floor of Frost’s tower, they started making their way back to Nebbia on Arashi’s back. Meanwhile, Frost redirected the icy winds somewhere else, making their travels much easier.
It had been almost a week since Ichiro and Melina split up, and now that she had completed her mission and obtained the relic they were missing, she was dying to go to the north and meet up with her fiancee.
When they reached the town of Nebbia, Melina spoke with the mayor to explain that they were probably not going to have mist in their town for a long time, as the Ice Dragon was now her companion.
The princess was just being honest about the events, but she didn’t know that the man had a voice crystal, and the news of the Ice Dragon becoming Melina’s ally spread around the world pretty quickly.
The group planned to stay for one night in Nebbia, then go to the capital of Vista the next day to take the magic quartz to the north.
