Chapter 346: A Devil’s Burden
After completing the trial and adding Arashi to our team, we reunited with Yoru and the bears, who had been waiting for us under the wall that led to the peak.
The dragon removed the spell that prevented us from using magic, so we were able to fly down with ease.
I held the relic for a few seconds before it started absorbing a bit of my MP, and before I knew it, the orb had flown away from my hands.
It was the same thing that happened with the core. All of the relics had an enchantment that would transport them to the world’s titan, so as soon as it absorbed the MP it required, it would fly away.
Before we teleported back to the capital of Lotus, we sent a voice message to Keiko, letting her know that we were bringing two bears with us.
We didn’t tell her about Arashi, but she was in her human form, so I didn’t think it would be a problem.
My main concern was teleporting to the castle and scaring everyone with an 8-ft tall bear appearing right inside their home.
Once she confirmed that it was fine, I took the magic quartz from my void pocket and teleported us to the capital.
When we arrived, the king and Keiko were waiting for us, along with a few of the castle’s servants.
They were a bit startled at first after seeing Athena and Apollo with us, but it didn’t take long for them to get over it once Apollo started rolling adorably on the ground, wanting to play with Yoru.
The king glanced at Arashi with suspicion, as he wasn’t familiar with her, and wondered who she was.
