Chapter 270: The World’s Secret Weapon
As we walked up the stairs inside the giant humanoid-weapon’s leg, we reached a point that seemed to be his knee.
Here, there were carvings on the wall with English words and a few drawings, which reminded us of the ones we saw at the ancient temple in Kalusia.
’Did Alejandro make this?’ I wondered.
Alejandro was the oldest reincarnator that I knew about, and he had this thing with drawing everything he did instead of just writing it down in a note.
Still, when I looked at the drawings, I noticed that one of them looked like a sketch of what the robot was supposed to look like.
’Was this guy an artist in his past life or something?’ I pondered again.
Alejandro’s drawings were quite good and detailed. He even added some shading to some of them, so I could tell that he wasn’t a rookie artist.
The king told us that the creator of the secret weapon left those engravings, and while they could interpret the drawings and get the meaning behind them, the words were utterly unknown to them.
It had been hours since we went inside the robot’s foot, so we used that time to rest on the large knee space before going up more.
After a few more hours of expedition, we reached the waist and found ourselves in a massive room the size of a whole town, with heavy machinery all around us.
The contraptions were all off, so nothing was moving, but it didn’t take away from the surprising engineering they had inside.
