Chapter 241: The Lunar Forest
The following morning, after spending the night at Yuandu, Melina and I did our routine of enchanting their homes and giving them supplies and trinkets.
Contrary to the no-name settlements we saw before, Yuandu had at least 120 residents, which at that point could have been considered a small village.
Nisa and Tony told us that we were half a day away from the border with the Lunar Forest to the south, but that was if we went on foot. Flying would make it a few hours at most.
I told the members of DD to keep a low profile. Considering we attacked a soldiers’ convoy the previous day, the guards would most likely try to investigate the area.
After we were done, we kept moving south towards Balinesia.
However, there was still one large area we had to cross to get there, which was the Lunar Forest, the place where Yoru was from.
I had heard about the Lunar Forest a long time ago when I first met Triana in Glorya, who explained that moonwolves like Yoru could only be found there.
It had always been a mystery to us how Yoru and his parents got to End Forest, which was on a completely different continent.
My companion said he couldn’t remember well, as his memories showed his parents running away from a monster and suddenly appearing there.
My theory was that they had somehow teleported, but I couldn’t be too sure about it.
I mean, the only way that we had to travel between continents in an instant was using the magic quartz, so thinking that they just cast a teleportation spell that took them that far was hard to believe.
