Chapter 235: Debutante Ball
Winter had arrived in the Sephyr Kingdom along with Melina’s debutante ball.
Queen Diana gifted me a pretty nice suit to wear during the event, which was somewhat of a creation between the two of us.
See, for the past weeks, I had been meeting with the queen so that she could tell me everything I should and shouldn’t do during the ball.
When the tailors were taking my measurements, they showed me a few different suits and asked what type of clothing I liked the most so that they could make something similar. However, I found them all to be somewhat flashy and weird.
Most of the suits that nobles wore in the Sephyr Kingdom had rich fabric adorned with embroidery and a tail that swept the ground behind them, pretty similar to how people from the Victorian-era would dress.
To them, that was good. To me, it was quite ugly and uncomfortable.
It’s not like I was a fashion designer, but even that was too much for me, so I tried giving my input in the design.
The suit I was given as a professor wasn’t as flashy as it wasn’t meant to be used on formal occasions, but I still believed it looked much better since it resembled a normal suit from my past world the most.
In the end, my attire looked like a traditional suit: dark blue trousers and flux, a white button-down shirt, and a cravat. The queen even praised my sense of fashion, though I did technically copy someone else’s design.
