Chapter 203: Sage Headmaster Devon
At the Sephyr’s Kingdom academy, Headmaster Devon was working on some paperwork in his office when he felt a sudden chill running down his spine.
With haste, the old sage stood up from his desk and walked towards the window.
His office was located at one of the highest towers in the academy, and he had a 360-degree view of the capital and its surroundings.
Focusing his sight on a strange dot in the distance that was getting closer every second, the man squinted and noticed it was a flying carriage that was traveling at full speed.
Calmly, Devon raised his hand and chanted. "Home Dimension," entering into his own pocket dimension where he could move freely without any restrictions.
Thanks to his powerful spell, the old sage was able to take a step from his office and appear inside the flying carriage.
The four students couldn’t see the man standing with them inside the cart, as Devon was still inside his pocket dimension, observing the teenagers using magic to propel the cart desperately.
"We gotta move faster!" Florencia exclaimed as she exhausted a massive gust of wind that sped up the cart.
"W-What was that thing anyways!?" Gunther asked nervously, using his low-level magic to help propel the cart.
Keiko, the most distressed out of all the students, was sweating and breathing heavily as she used all of her magic to propel the cart.
"A devil..." the blue-haired girl muttered, her voice laced with fear.
