Chapter 103: Dormitory and New Mayor
A few days after Melina’s test, she was asked to move to the academy’s dormitories.
The people from the academy sent a carriage for the princess to move all of her stuff. However, it wasn’t necessary since she stored all of her things in her void pocket.
Noble kids could bring one servant with them during their stay, so naturally, Carli would be her partner. Commoners were allowed to do it, too, but it was unusual for them.
I decided to accompany her to help her unload all of her stuff and take a look at more of the academy while I was at it.
When we got to the women’s dormitory section, I noticed that the rooms were separated into two categories: Nobles and commoners, which made me doubt if the place truly treated everyone equally.
Melina explained that the academy had problems with bullying in the past, where noble kids would make the life of their commoner roommate a nightmare. To combat this, the academy decided to split them.
However, the rooms were all the same on the inside, so it wasn’t like they were giving rundown rooms to the commoners and fancy dorms to the nobles.
If it had been me, I would have tried my best to stop the bullying by punishing the aggressors and teaching the kids how to treat everyone equally, but at least they managed to solve the problem themselves, kind of.
"So, you are going to be roommates with other nobles?" I asked the princess.
"I guess so..." she said, looking slightly nervous.
Her room was on the 12th floor of the girls’ building, and when we entered, we were quite surprised by how it looked.
