Chapter 95: Asys, The God of Magic
After Asys, the God of Magic, brought me into the ethereal plain to talk to him, he expressed his interest in some of the magic that I had created.
Mostly the "gravity" and "sound" magic, although he did praise my other spells.
"You see, I’m a big fan of magic," Asys said.
"You don’t say," I replied, instantly apologizing after realizing that sarcasm wasn’t the best when talking to a god.
However, Asys smiled at my comment and explained that he had been closely watching me after "gravity magic" became a thing.
Now that I had refined "sound magic," his curiosity peaked enough to bring me here so that I could explain to him how it worked.
As I explained to him how sound waves worked and traveled around our environment, Asys was casting magic simultaneously. Not even a minute after I finished explaining, he had gathered all the sound waves around us, completely muting our conversation.
I could see him laughing as he held all of the sound waves with magic in the palm of his hand. Of course, I couldn’t hear his laugh since we were both muted.
After dispersing the sound waves back into the environment, Asys nodded with a satisfied expression and waved his hand, materializing a giant bookcase behind him.
Carefully reading the tags on each book’s spines, he reached for one labeled with the word "Sage" and gave it to me.
"W-what’s this for?" I asked.
