"But I’m not done yet," Tom said.
"It’s okay, I’ll finish all the preparation myself," Kate insisted. She pushed Tom to the door, hoping he understood Kate wasn’t in the mood to talk with anyone right now.
"... okay then," Tom took off his apron and hung it. He opened the door and turned around before leaving, looking at Kate, who looked lost, "You should know that I’m always here if you need someone to talk to."
