Chapter 655: Regret
"Shield!" Azura extended her hand in front of her, all the witches in the battle zone copying the Queen’s actions to form a shield that could protect her from the wrath of Elliana.
"Aaaaaa!" Elliana screamed loudly, her hair loosening from the hair tie and flowing in the direction of air as her body started to form multiple cuts that started to bleed.
Every drop of blood dripping from her body started to mix with the thunder and lightning, turning it red as her siren powers that fed on blood started to drain the blood from the body of the humans, wanting to come out in their carnal form.
"This is so wrong, Eros. Can you not ask your father if we can do something to stop this bloodbath? This destruction?" Azura fell on her knees, not moving her hands.
Even in her pain, she needed to accomplish her duty as the queen and protect her kingdom from the wrath of her daughter.
"I... I don’t know if he will be ready to come here," King Eros said, calling his father nonetheless.
It wasn’t long before the man made his presence known and looked at everything around him with a calm expression.
His gaze fell on his granddaughter, and seeing her writhing in pain and screaming at the top of her lungs to ease the ache she was feeling in her heart, he clenched his fists before looking at his son.
"Father-" King Eros stepped ahead and Luscious shook his head.
"What did you guys do? You had to protect her. I told you clearly that she can’t be provoked, especially not in a way where her siren powers would feel the need to merge with her witch powers," Luscious said.
He wasn’t afraid that her powers were great enough to destroy the entire nation, but her powers were great enough to start another interspecies war which would be far greater than this one, and if that happened, there would be no going back.
