"Elliana, look at me," Sebastian cupped her cheeks, forcing her to look at him.
"Please calm down my love. I know you are scared, but please don’t be, love. I won’t let anything happen to you. Believe me. I will kill anyone before they come close to you to hurt you. No one will -" Sebastian started speaking, but stopped when Elliana shook her head at him.
She was taking short quick breaths to calm herself too as she placed her hand on his chest to feel his heartbeat.
Sebastian immediately placed his hand over hers to secure her hand over his heart, a soft sigh leaving his lips as he looked at his entire world and life in his arms, so scared.
"I am not worried about myself. I am worried about you, Mr. Marino. A witch can burst any vampire without making her presence known? What will she do with us? Leila already warned me that Azrael will try to harm you if I don’t leave you, but despite the warnings, I stayed, and now this..." Elliana whimpered, making Sebastian’s eyes soften even more.
"I would’ve wrecked the entire witch kingdom if you hadn’t stayed. This wouldn’t have been the first file I wiped of an entire clan. Thank you for not leaving. Sweetheart, my love. Azrael can’t do anything to me," Sebastian sat on the ground with his back to the tree as he peppered soft kisses on her face to calm her quickly.
"When your grandmother cursed my mom regarding me, she already placed an indirect magical shield on me.
It means until I am unable to drink human blood and am still an abomination to my own species, no other magic will work on me. They can’t harm me like that. Trust me," Sebastian explained things to her, kissing her hair again and again.
