Chapter 506: A smile worth dying for
"What do you mean?" Elliana asked when she saw him pacing in the room.
"I meant what I said, Princess. I am done pretending. Pretending that everything is fine, and I am not dying to kiss you right now," Sebastian whispered before he appeared right in front of her and cupped her cheeks.
"Please allow me. I beg you," Sebastian closed his eyes, the strain visible on his forehead as he inhaled deeply.
"I don’t want to," Elliana whispered and looked away.
She didn’t want to break from her resolution.
"You don’t have to. It will be all on me. I will kiss you one-sided," Sebastian asked, and Elliana’s lips twitched as she forced down a smile despite her anger.
"You do know that this is not how things work. You will be using MY lips to kiss me, right?" Elliana asked.
"If you have a problem with these lips, I can kiss your vertical lips too," Sebastian whispered with a frustrated smile, his lips stretching further when he saw her cheeks turning red.
"King Marino!" Elliana gasped at his insinuation.
"I am serious. I have to taste you now. And you know, you should start calling me Sebastian now. It’s not like you are married to me anymore. You calling me so respectfully will only make me think you have feelings for me," Sebastian whispered, using reverse psychology on her, hoping it would work.
"Nice try, but I will call you whatever I am comfortable with. You can leave now -"
