At the same time, Lucas walked out of the venue to receive the call he got from Miss Zoya.
"Hello, Mr. Lucas -," Miss Zoya started, but before she could say anything else, Lucas interrupted her.
"I know why you have called. Congratulations, our Prince got the crown. He is the new king now. All his hard work finally paid off," Lucas smiled.
Miss Zoya let Lucas finish his sentence before she hummed.
"I am happy for the Prince. I kind of knew he would get the throne. We all had high hopes for him, no? But, Lucas, this is not why I have called you... This... It’s related to the Princess," Miss Zoya said, Lucas’s brows furrowing before he looked towards the venue to see her.
However, to his surprise, she wasn’t standing where she was earlier.
"What about her? Did something happen?" Lucas asked, and Miss Zoya paused for a few seconds, unsure of how to portray her doubts.
"I don’t know how to ask this. We received gifts from the Princess’s behalf in the morning. At that time we didn’t think much about it because we were busy cleaning and stuff, but we opened the gift and -"
"Is something wrong with the gift?" Lucas asked.
"No... It’s just that. Why would she send us gifts in the first place?"
"She bought a gift for everyone in the royal palace. Maybe that’s why she bought some for you guys too. Don’t think too much into -"
