They sat in the room, facing each other, not saying anything as both of them needed time to comprehend things and get a good of their emotions.
Nathaniel’s heart was still beating fast, his emotions tearing him piece by piece.
Arizona took a deep breath and started the tale of the past.

"When the nanny told Eros that the baby would never be able to survive and they should kill her using their magic, Eros was broken. I had never seen him cry like I saw that day, and no matter what happened with me, I loved him with everything I had and still have," Arizona stood from her place before she went to the almirah and pulled out the agreement.
She placed the agreement in front of Nathaniel.

When he gave up his life and his powers for the baby, he had never thought that she would be born still. There was a slight chance, but we were hoping for the best," Arizona took out another set of documents and placed it in front of Nathaniel.
"These are the agreements we made, and the promises that I am still keeping. You wanted to know why I am making Elliana’s life hell when I am not even her mother, right? Here are your reasons," Arizona opened the file, and Nathaniel read all the old manuscripts that were written in the familiar writing he knew.
