The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride

Chapter 238: Harsh side of Elliana

"Alcinder, stop the car near the forest of the Moon city," Elliana said.

Her hands were clenched on her dress, making it ride slightly above her knees, showcasing her porcelain olive legs even more.

Luckily, she didn’t have to shed more blood. Thus, her dress wasn’t stained and no scent of blood affected the drug she was using right now.

Although because of her sweating, a little of her own scent was starting to mix with the lavender scent, it wasn’t something she was too worried about.

Alcinder looked at her briefly, hoping she would say something else to explain why they were going to the forests of Moon City now, but when she didn’t, he sighed before nodding and turning the car in that direction.

Natasha didn’t make a sound the entire journey. She was too scared to say anything. She knew what was coming for her now. It would’ve been better if Miss Elliana hadn’t come there altogether rather than coming at a time like that. She closed her eyes in regret.

Alcinder looked at the vampire girl from time to time, unsure if he should be chivalrous and show his concern to know if she was alright.

Elliana’s demeanor wasn’t approachable either. It looked like she was deep in thought about something.

Though he was the council’s head’s son and technically the most powerful in the car right now, he was still finding it hard to understand this human beside him.

He had been suspicious about her since the beginning and always felt like she was too innocent for her own good, and probably hiding greater things, the most prominent being her identity and background.

However, after some time, she won him over with her innocence and accident-prone character, but now that he looks at her again, she was nothing like the girl he suspected her to be, or how he believed her later.
