Chapter 150: Something was off
"Is everything okay, sir?" Lucas asked when he noticed Sebastian looking at the sea from the balcony window for the last few minutes.
Was everything okay? He can’t stop thinking about Elliana, and it has been like this since last night. He didn’t catch a wink of sleep just because he didn’t get to be with her in the same bed as her.
That vampire girl ruined his entire plans.
So was everything okay? Of course not! He was anything but okay.
Sebastian sighed and pinched the space between his brows.
More than the want he desires for her, he has been constantly thinking about the mystery that has started to build around Elliana, his so-called ordinary human wife.
If it had been others, they might not have been able to notice it, but thanks to his grandmother who gave him those books to read in his free time, and his extreme research on witches and all the other species in the world, he could see a pattern of differences around Elliana these days.
At first, he used to think it was nothing, but now he can see things are indeed worth to concern over. On this trip only, so many weird things happened around them.
The sirens calling Elliana, that push while falling, the soft landing, Dexter saying Elliana used to go out of the kingdom even when he was notified that she never left the kingdom, and how she knew about vampires and probably strong ones even before that.
Then most importantly, the sudden and drastic change in her personality from time to time is another thing worth suspecting.
"Lucas, I asked you to look into the princess’s information before, right?" Sebastian suddenly asked, and Lucas nodded.
