"So, will you accompany me?" Sebastian looked at her hopefully, and she nodded after some time.
"Only if you don’t make fun of that text," Elliana pouted, and Sebastian smiled before rubbing her lower lip to ease her pout.
"I never made fun of your text message, Princess. This is the first time someone complimented me like this. It was quite unique," Sebastian said.
"Hey! Stop," Elliana slapped his chest playfully before freezing in her place.
Even Lucas who was standing at some distance froze in his place.
He quickly rushed to the princess to save her from his prince’s wrath but what happened next was unexpected, even for him.
"I... I am sorry. I don’t mean to. Please forgive me. It was a mistake. I should’ve known my place. Please," Elliana looked at Sebastian with tears in her eyes.
"What are you -" Sebastian raised his hand to cup her cheeks, but Elliana flinched back so hard that she fell on the ground.
"I am sorry, please," she closed her eyes, bringing her knees close to her face as she hugged herself in a cocoon shape, ready to take the beatings.
Sebastian, who only wanted to make feel her at ease and was meaning to hold her hand, froze in his place as he looked at his traumatic wife.
