"Are you seriously going to just stand here and do nothing?" The boy behind Gabrielle asked, and she narrowed her eyes.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Gabrielle asked, unsure.
"What do I mean? Let’s not play dumb. Everyone saw what happened earlier, and how this mere pathetic human showed you down. I understand that she is currently this main group’s favorite human, but didn’t she cross a line?" The boy asked Gabrielle, and she looked at the human girl who was dancing without a care in the world after ruining it for her.
"What do you think I should do?" Gabrielle said to no one in particular.
"Really? You are asking me that? The girl I know and have seen doesn’t take sh*t from anyone. And to say it’s a human who is a much lower species than us. You are the daughter of a politician. Don’t you think you should do something to get back the humiliation?" The boy whispered into her ears from behind, and Gabrielle’s eyes narrowed.
"Or wait. Are you not doing anything because she is actually right? You are just a weak and pathetic vampire girl who is helpless and -"
"Don’t you dare say anything else? You are not that pathetic human that everyone likes currently. One more word and I won’t hesitate to snap your neck, and if I am not able to do it here, my father will surely do it," Gabrielle turned with a jerk and held his neck, and rather than being offended, he smirked.
"That’s the fire I was waiting to see. Where was that earlier? So what if she is the only human? That’s exactly why she needs to be taught a lesson. She is human and she should learn to behave like one. Bow down and get on her knees in front of us, no?" The guy asked and Gabrielle looked at the hunk of the bodyguard that this human has brought.
She is also a powerful family’s daughter and knows that this kind of art doesn’t belong to any normal person. How come this human girl has two vampire bodyguards and such powerful ones? Just what kind of family does she belong to?
