Chapter 197: Planting Seed
Ignoring Mirela’s seductive antics, Adyr redirected his focus to the seed in his hands. It was undoubtedly a powerful item, but with it came another problem.
Fortunately, Liora seemed to have anticipated the issue. She raised her hand, and a large satchel materialized in her palm.
"Here. Crystals with a total energy value of 2,000. That should keep you going for a while."
She likely assumed he had already used up the 6,000 crystals they’d previously given him—and she was right. Being a practitioner often meant being perpetually poor.
Adyr nodded in silent gratitude, accepting the crystals without further comment. Without delay, he sent both the seed and the satchel to his Twilight Land. The sooner he planted it and grew it into a fruit-bearing tree, the sooner he could start collecting his daily free stat points.
Especially for someone like him—who had all four attributes to develop—this treasure was a godsend. And considering it was only a Rank 1 treasure, he could only imagine what kind of benefits higher-rank ones, like Rank 2 or above, might offer.
What made it even more exciting was that Liora had found this treasure in a Legacy Domain belonging to a Rank 5 Adept. That meant Adyr had a real chance of finding something similar in the upcoming event he was about to join.
"Alright, if we’re done here, I need to go help Malrik," Lucen said calmly. He waited as the surrounding vines unraveled and dropped lifelessly to the ground, then leapt through the broken ceiling and vanished from the room.
The reason Malrik wasn’t present was that he was currently hunting Sparks, threatening nearby villages. With the Colossith threat now neutralized and no major injuries to tend to, the group could finally resume active participation in Spark hunts.
"I’ll join them," Mirela said, then turned to Adyr with a flirtatious smile. "If you ever feel lonely, come find me." A pair of iridescent butterfly wings shimmered into existence on her back, like an illusion made real, and she lifted off gracefully into the air.
