Intentionally or not, they seemed reluctant to face him directly.
Even the ones sent to intercept him were weaklings—mere cannon fodder.

Given the sheer scale of destruction he had already caused, the angelic race should have responded far more aggressively.

There was no logical reason they’d deploy only this paltry number of underlings—unless they had something else in mind.
