Chapter 256 -256-The God’s Design
The idea of resurrecting souls had been part of Daniel’s plan from the very beginning.
His reasoning was simple: compared to physical bodies, souls were light, compact, and most importantly—they didn’t need to eat, drink, sleep, or excrete. Not only were they energy-efficient, but also easy to organize. They could even be stacked in three dimensions if necessary.
From this perspective, Daniel’s most efficient strategy was to head back to the Undead Lands and gather as many souls as possible into one location.
That way, although his resurrection radius remained the same, the number of beings he could resurrect would increase tenfold—at the very least.
In fact, even that was likely a conservative estimate.
Possibly, the actual increase could be even far greater!
With this in mind, Daniel immediately activated [Flashback], teleporting to a vast expanse of open land in the northern frontier of human territory.
Without hesitation, he marked this area as a resurrection point.
This wasteland was enormous—comparable in size to the entirety of the human domain.
It had remained largely untouched, not because it was uninhabitable, but because there was nothing here that was particularly coveted or strategically significant. As such, the humans had never made serious efforts to develop or claim the region.
But its spaciousness made it perfect—absolutely ideal—as a mass resurrection site.
In fact, Daniel didn’t plan to stop there. He intended to set five resurrection points across human lands—in the east, west, south, north, and center.
