Chapter 117 - 116: Negotiations!
"Alright so what’s all this really about?"
Drake was still angry but he was also curious.
This little guy actually came to him to learn how to pick up girls. That took real guts. What could make guy do something like that?
Simon hesitated a bit then started. "Actually the thing is, I don’t know how to talk to girls or you know..."
A few minutes later Drake finally got the gist of it.
As things would have it, Old Simon here was having problems with his relationship skills with girls.
"And you came to me for help." Drake found this both incredulous and funny. He also admired the guy a little.
Simon nodded and said, "I haven’t always been one to be let outside partly because of the way I grew up and also because I myself always liked staying in at home since I could do anything I wanted and everything I ever wanted was always available to me. Coming to Alpha Academy is the first time I’ve been away from home for so long. I never had any problems communicating with my parents on their faces the old butler and the driver back home. But now when I run into girls especially the pretty ones my brain shuts down and I can’t say anything. In fact I can’t even think properly anymore."
Then Simon raised his head to glance a Drake and his eyes were glowing. "But you, you don’t have that problem. You tamed three of the top 10 beauties of the empire in our generation. I even heard that you made them cook for you and now you don’t have to buy food from the Academy anymore."
"Hold on, time out. Where did you hear that I made the girls cook for me?"
"Word on the street Boss. Word on the street." Simon waived not disclosing his sources. Then he continued, "Also word on the street is, you make them compete for your attention. Whoever makes the best dish gets your attention."
Drake’s face darkened even more. He thought, ’Damn it who the hell is putting all this stuff out on the streets. Does everyone have access to all this information? How come I’m just finding out about this street voice? Theres definitely a mole somewhere.’
