Chapter 107 - 106: Paragon!
BOOM!
A Violet energy wave exploded out; covering a 7 foot radius around Drake before receding. The entire audience turned deathly silent.
It was over!
Everyone had colorful expressions painted all over their faces at that moment. It was as if they had been riding an elevator when all of sudden, it went out of control and began free falling!
This was because, in the middle of the battlefield, Paragon had his Saber up against Julia’s neck!
Julia couldn’t stop her hands from shaking. There had never been anyone who could break the Blooming Blood Lotus like this before.
Never!
"Paragon wins!" The loud voice of the Umpire sounded.
Julia gritted her teeth and held back her tears. Ever since she had awakened her magic power, she had always liked to play, and never trained. When she turned twelve she finally started training to be a Blade dancer, but nobody in her family had thought she was suited for close combat and they had all told her to quit. But she wanted to fight like this.
So, she decided to train herself so that she could become the best Blade dancer there is. She had done her best to let everybody know this through her accomplishments.
Julia had finally gotten the recognition of her Dad on this, and he had asked Master Wes to help forge a weapon most suited to her, yet now she had failed in front of everyone. She couldn’t help but doubt herself, could it be that she had been wrong?
